This is one of my favorite conversations I’ve ever had. Jo Hutton is the best yoga teacher. She is so caring, warm, gentle, and such a wonderful human. I truly feel excited for you to listen to us chat all about the theme below & more.
The theme we dove into/the “caller question”:
There’s so many societal expectations on me. On everyone. I feel like I’m supposed to look a certain way and there’s so much noise in my head that exercise or movement only counts if I achieve certain results and reach certain goals. I want to move my body everyday to take care of it and so I feel good (and also to help my mind!) but the outside voices cloud my ability and then I end up doing nothing and feeling stuck. What can I do? How can I move my body consistently but not to achieve a certain look or end goal, just to show care to my body and feel healthy inside?
